
When psychotherapy in person is not possible due to travel, illness or other plausible reasons, online sessions offer a way to continue the therapy process. If possible, it is preferable to have in-person contact initially, before continuing online. Online sessions are not indicated in all cases and therefore a screening process will be used to determine if online engagement will be suitable for new patients.
In circumstances such as those currently dictated by Covid-19, many people with existing mental health difficulties could benefit from the assistance made possible by online engagement. Having extra time available, those who have been considering engaging in a therapy process, might use this opportunity to start on a journey of growth and change.
